Some information on the role…

The National Accounts Director will be a key part of the senior management team, covering the whole of the UK, overseeing and driving the service strategy and managing the team of Regional Sales Managers. You will be working closely with the Managing Director and Operations Director and will be responsible for establishing key relationships with existing and potential customers as well as maintaining established customer relationships at a senior level. The National Accounts Director will also be responsible for leading the service team in order to provide outstanding customer service. As National Accounts Director you will own and deliver the tender and contract renewal process, together with the Managing Director. This is a fantastic chance to take on responsibility within a senior role in the company, where you will develop your career and deal with some high end hotels!

What kind of person and background are we looking for?

The successful National Accounts Director will have a background in the hospitality sector, ideally with an excellent understanding of the linen industry. This is a UK wide role, so you must be willing and flexible to travel around the UK and stay overnight when necessary. We are looking for candidates with experience of working with national accounts at director level – customer service and account management experience are both essential for this role and previous sales experience is desirable. The ideal National Accounts Director will be an energetic, creative and resilient individual with the drive and ability to lead and motivate a team. This will require strong organisational and planning skills with a high attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. Please note that as this role reports to the Berkshire office, you will need to live within an easy commute of Berkshire and you must hold a full, clean, UK driving licence.

What’s in it for you?

Salary for this role is up to £70,000, depending on experience plus fully expensed company car, generous pension scheme and life assurance.
