A little bit about the company…

Owned by a £2billion turnover group, our client is a well established, leading software company who are looking to recruit an Account Manager. You will visit the office regularly within your role. They have some fantastic clients within the events and higher education sectors and are committed to building and maintaining the very best customer relationships. As an Account Manager here you would be joining a friendly, welcoming working environment – could you turn down the opportunity to drink awesome coffee, eat a breakfast provided by your employer and even the occasional pizza at work! As well as this you get to work very closely with small, medium and large customers – some big household names!

Some information on the role…

As Account Manager here you will be joining a fantastic sales team within their higher education division, selling software services into universities, colleges and further education establishments, UK wide and overseas. High quality leads for new business are provided as well as excellent opportunities for repeat business as they also offer training and support packages to their customers. You will be based from home, visiting customers all over the UK and overseas, but there will be a requirement to attend the Shropshire office at least twice per month, so we are looking for Account Managers living within a commutable distance of this area.

What kind of person and background are we looking for?

Are you a high achieving, creative and energetic sales person with great organisational skills? Are you a successful Account Manager with experience in both New Business and Account Management? Do you have working knowledge of a CRM system? If the answer to these questions is yes, then you are the type of person our client will want to consider for this role! Ideally you will have SAAS experience or come from an IT or office supplies sales background. If you are an Account Manager with previous experience selling into the higher education or events/unique venues sectors, then that would be an added bonus! Due to the location of clients being UK-wide and overseas, we are looking for people with the flexibility and willingness to travel extensively for work.

What’s in it for you?

Basic salary is £28,000-£35,000, depending on experience, plus commission – 1st year total earnings £50,000-£55,000. Other benefits include 25 days holiday allowance, standard company pension scheme and healthcare.
