Sales Estimator based in Woking, Surrey based in the construction / steelwork / fabrication industry.  Brand new role working for an expanding, successful business with high quality products and service. Basic salary £20-25k, OTE £35-45k (uncapped).  Working with an existing client base in a small but friendly, focused team. Immediately available.

An exciting opportunity to join an established company with an excellent reputation in their marketplace.  They are a small, successful steel stockholder and fabricator based in Woking, Surrey with plans to grow the business. They pride themselves on their high level of customer service, ensuring lots of repeat business.

Due to increased sales, this is a brand-new position so a fantastic opportunity to make the role your own and grow and develop it over time. The MD is experienced and supportive and trusts his team to work autonomously so they all pull together to achieve the same goals.

In this role, you will be responsible for an existing customer base as well as developing new business leads - the ability to build long lasting customer relationships is key to your success. Based on site, the majority of the role will be phone based, however you will also be dealing with customers on a face to face basis some of the time.

To be considered

Experience within the construction and steelwork industry along with the ability to read and interpret working drawings are a must to succeed in this role.

What's in it for me?

The basic salary for this role is up to £25,000 with on target earnings of £35-45k (uncapped). There is also a company pension scheme.

Along with the technical skills, our client is looking for a candidate who is organised, motivated, hardworking and when up and running, enjoys working in an autonomous role.

You will be confident in dealing with customers over the phone to ensure they have the right products for their requirements.  You will have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, the ability to work on multiple projects and enjoy working in a small, friendly focused team. Excellent IT skills and a great eye for detail are also a key requirement for this role.
