You’ll be working for a dynamic, diversified and passionate firm - a well-established enterprise that has sustained its business through continual technical innovation and commitment to the integrity and performance of their products. This company focusses on quality – they sell top of the range sustainable, ethical products that their clients love so much they have zero percent returns!  It’s not surprising that they are experiencing continual growth and to keep doing that, they believe in fully supporting their staff through CPD to encourage them to develop with the business.

This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated BDM to develop and maintain business selling quality products to major hotel chains. This varied and challenging role gives you the opportunity to use your initiative, organise your own diary and make a difference to the company. This role is home based and involves extensive travelling to the main cities of London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Edinburgh. You will be in the office in Manchester perhaps two days a month, though you might want to be in the office one day a week at the start, to get to know the company and build relationships with the team. 

You’ll divide your time between managing relationships with existing clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met and developing new accounts to meet agreed targets.  It’s a varied role – you’ll manage your own diary and get the opportunity to work on ad hoc projects and at trade shows from time to time.

As well as offering a superb service to new and existing clients you’ll still get the opportunity to be part of a friendly supportive company - you’ll be a team player collaborating with various departments across the business.

You’ll be a self-starter who has won business and increased turnover by selling at Head Office level into large hotel groups with a full driving licence.

A 3pm finish on Friday will enable you to beat the traffic and start the weekend on a high!   There’s a salary of £40-45k with a 20% annual bonus (changing to a ¼ system??) that should also keep you smiling.  A £4,800 annual car allowance will help you travel in comfort. Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a dynamic individual who can work autonomously to achieve their goals demonstrated by their proven track record in sales.  You’ll be a confident communicator on the phone and face to face who can negotiate successfully with high level staff. 

Alongside excellent written skills you’re also analytical and numerate – comfortable creating and implementing business plans and sales forward forecasts and ensuring data is kept up to date.
